SOD Turning at Wigram Primary!
On Tuesday 8th August it was a very exciting day for the students, teachers, parents and wider community of Sockburn School. It was the first stages towards the opening of our brand new school, Wigram Primary School.
The grounds were blessed by some very special visitors of Ngai Tahu and then soil was turned by Tim Macindoe, the Associate Minister of Education and two of our Sockburn Students, Alexia and Jacob.
Check out the video with some photos of the morning that we had!
